Welcome to Statewide 2010

Come dance with us in historic Sonoma, in the beautiful "Valley of the Moon." It's the birthplace of California's wine industry, with gourmet restaurants, fine shops and highly rated wineries.

Allow extra time to visit Mission Sonoma and Jack London State Park…that is if you can tear yourself away from the dancing, dancing, dancing!

Friday, June 4, We will be dancing in two halls: to recorded music in the main hall with a mix of couple, line and set dances; and live music in the Kafana.

Saturday, June 5, We start the day with teaching by our two great teachers: Zeljko Jergan and Erik Bendix. Two sessions each, morning and afternoon. Noontime is your chance to explore Sonoma, the shops, boutiques and noted restaurants.

In the evening, all our dancing will be in the lovely main dance hall with the famous band “Chubritza."

Sunday, June 6, Sunday morning we will have one session with each of our teachers. At noon is the installation luncheon (extra charge). And at 2:00 pm we will be treated to a tour and tasting of fine wines at the Gundlach Bundschu Winery with dancing on their patio afterwards (extra charge). Then we bid farewell to all our friends until next time. (See the Pre-registration form for times of events.)
